Room Attendant – HOTEL RIALTO

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, replenishing amenities, and delivering an excellent guest experience. A Room Attendant will also be required to manage guest requests. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards.

Job Description

  • Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Vacuum rooms and corridors
  • Change and replenish bed linen, towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
  • Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
  • Restock and maintain trolley on a daily basis
  • Report any missing or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor and own the responsibility to ensure that the items are replaced or repaired so to create an uninterrupted or impaired stay for the guest
  • Ensure that all equipment inside and around guest rooms as well as in work areas and used when performing housekeeping responsibilities is in working condition
  • Be environmentally aware
  • Dispose of waste accordingly
  • Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Carry out lost property procedures
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
  • Other duties as assigned

Liquor Retail Sales Person – VINTAGE SPIRITS

The Liquor Retail Sales Person provides responsible beverage service and excellent customer service, is passionate and knowledgeable about wine, spirits, cider, beer, and cocktail culture, is prompt and timely, organized, and treats staff and customers alike with respect.

Job Description

· Deliver warm, friendly, and professional service to customers and team members alike.

· Handle cash and debit/credit transactions of liquor, wine, beer, etc. accurately.

· Ensure that tills are balanced daily, and that customers have been charged correctly for the items they purchase.

· Perform accurate cash drops nightly.

· Provide responsible beverage service in line with the rules as laid out by Serving it Right.

  • Refusal of service to intoxicated or inebriated customers.
  • Checking ID to ensure customers are 19+.
  • Keeping an eye on what’s going on outside and questionable purchases so as to prevent booting for minors.
  • Calling a cab for anyone who is intoxicated upon being refused service to ensure they get home safe.

· Keep a detailed log of any refusals of service daily.

· Maintain cleanliness of store (dusting shelves & bottles, wiping down surfaces & glass doors, sweeping, taking out trash and recycling daily).

· Receive and put away orders daily; with the ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs.

· Stock shelves and/or beer & wine fridges daily.

· Repackage beer into 6-packs regularly.

· Share product knowledge with customers and team members alike.

· Observe and report all security issues.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

· Valid Serving it Right certification, and keeping it actively renewed.

· Genuine passion for customer service.

· Enthusiasm for and interest in wine, spirits, cider, beer, cocktails, etc.

· Knowledge of several of those categories; applicants with some sort of certification in these areas will take priority.

· Be reliable and punctual with exemplary time-management.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.

· Valid Serving it Right Certificate.

· Be 19 years of age or older.

Part-time hours: 25-40 per week
